Blackburn Rovers midfielder Hope Akpan has declared that the team will use the international break to fine-tune their strategies ahead of the Championship tie against MK Dons on October 17.
Last weekend, the Anglo - Nigerian had one of his best performances to date in a Blackburn Rovers shirt, winning a penalty which was converted by Rhodes in the 12th minute against Ipswich Town, and was brilliant in midfield.
“Some people have said that the break has come at the wrong time but I don’t think that’s the case. ” Akpan said to Radio Rovers.
“We can reflect on the things that we’ve done well, and work on the areas that need work in the international break so we can be ready and more prepared for the MK Dons game which will be fast upon us.”
