Gboly Ariyibi Sparkles As USA Thrash Panama

Nigerian - American winger Gboly Ariyibi was impressive in the United States 4 - 0 thrashing of Panama at the CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying Championship on Tuesday night.
The Chesterfield youngster caused a lot of problems for the Panamanian defense all through the contest at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park.
After a goalless first half, Panama defender Fidel Escobar netted an own goal five minutes out of intermission after failing to control a ball blasted into the box by Gboly Ariyibi.
Jerome Kiesewetter, Jordan Morris and Luis Gil also registered their names on the scoresheet for the Americans, who now face either Mexico or Honduras in the semi - final on Saturday at Utah after topping their group.
Both Gboly Ariyibi and Real Salt Lake defender Boyd Okwuonu went the distance against Panama.
