Kenneth Omeruo Pays Tribute To Super Eagles Legend Vincent Enyeama

Kasımpa�a defender Kenneth Omeruo has paid tribute to Vincent Enyeama after he announced his retirement from international football.
Having made his debut for the national team aged 19, the Chelsea loanee acknowledged that the former Super Eagles skipper protected him on and off the pitch when he broke into the squad.
“You are one person that have always watched my back, ” Kenneth Omeruo said in a statement posted on his Instagram page.
“One person that always keeps me in the perfect position.. It’s sad to know I will no longer have you..
“So I want to thank you for being a great captain. I know first hand Nigerians love you.The team will miss you greatly.”
Kenneth Omeruo withdrew from the latest Super Eagles roster after picking up a hamstring injury in a Super Lig game against Rizespor a week before the international break.
