The home - based Super Eagles thrashed Blessed Academy of Port Harcourt 6-2 in a test game ahead of their African Nations Championship qualifier against Burkina Faso next weekend.<br /><br />The Salisu Yusuf - led side were 2 - 0 up at half time courtesy of goals from Gbolahan Salami ( 8th minute) and Tunde Adeniji(36th minute).<br /><br />On the resumption of the second half, substitute Chisom Chikatara made it 3 - 0 for the Super Eagles after he was set up by Usman Mohammed, before Osas Okoro increased their lead.<br /><br />Chisom Chikatara and Ezekiel Bassey netted the Super Eagles fifth and sixth goals respectively.<br /><br />The four home - based players instructed to join the CHAN team after the late issuance of visas by the Belgian embassy did not feature in the scrimmage.<br /><br />Photo Credit : nigeriafootball.com<br />
