Rabiu Ibrahim Plays Full Game For AS Trencin A Day After Returning To Slovakia
Published: October 13, 2015Rabiu Ibrahim was back in action for AS Trencin a day after after arriving in Slovakia from Belgium, where he spent one week with the Nigeria national team for their friendlies against Cameroon and DRC.
The attacking midfielder played the full game as AS Trencin thrashed Jaslovské Bohunice 3 - 0 in the fourth round of the Slovnaft Cup.
All the goals netted by the Fortuna Liga champions came in the second half courtesy of Koolwijk, Van Kessel and Lawrence.
In the Cup game staged at Sportoví aréal šK Blava (Jaslovské Bohunice),Rabiu Ibrahim was cautioned in the 52nd minute by referee Somolani.
Against Democratic Republic of Congo, the former PSV and Celtic playmaker was in action for 45 minutes whereas he spent 17 minutes on the pitch in Sunday’s game against Cameroon.
