Fatai Alashe And Boyd Okwuonu Feature As USA Secure Third Place At CONCACAF Qualifying Tournament

The United States Under 23s are still in the running to qualify for next summer’s Olympic Games after finishing third in the 2015 CONCACAF Men’s Qualifying Championship.
In the third place match, the Americans defeated Canada U23s 2 - 0, courtesy of goals from Marc Pelosi and Jerome Kiessewetter.
USA number 14 Fatai Alashe lasted the distance at the Rio Tinto Stadium; Sandy, Utah while Real Salt Lake defender Boyd Okwuonu came on in the 91st minute.
Another player of Nigerian descent, Chesterfield winger Gboly Ariyibi , was an unused substitute.
The United States will meet Colombia over two legs in March 2016, with the winner qualifying for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
