Exclusive - DONE DEAL : AS Trencin Sign Exciting Striker Godwin Obaje On Multiple - Year Deal

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Slovakia champions  AS Trenčín have bolstered their attacking ranks with the signing of Godwin Obaje on a multiple year deal.

Obaje is widely regarded as one of the top talents in the Nigeria Professional Football League so much so that he had been invited to the home - based Super Eagles squad for their game against Burkina Faso before he traveled to Slovakia.

A product of Golden Boot Soccer Academy, the same nursery team that nurtured CSKA Moscow’s Ahmed Musa and Gent winger Moses Simon, the frontman had been linked with possible moves to a plethora of teams in Europe before he committed his long - term future to  AS Trenčín.

The 6ft 3 inches tall forward is not lacking match fitness and everything indicates that he will make his official debut for the štadión na Sihoti outfit on Saturday when they tackle Zlaté Moravce in the Fortuna Liga.

For a start, Godwin Obaje will not have any problems adapting to life in Western Slovakia, as Nigeria internationals Kingsley Madu and Rabiu Ibrahim are on the books of AS Trenčín plus the exciting teenager Aliko Bala.
