Mainz Fans Hail Old Boy Anthony Ujah After Brace

Anthony Ujah was delighted to bag a brace in Werder Bremen’s 3 - 1 victory over Mainz 05 in the German Bundesliga on Saturday afternoon.
The Nigeria international had not scored in the colours of the Green Whites for five straight games in the league prior to today’s contest at the Coface Arena.
On 39 minutes, Ujah put his team in front , heading home from six yards before bagging his brace five minutes later after another cross by Santiago Garcia.
“Everything worked well today. I hope it keeps going like this, ” Ujah told werder .de.
“It was an amazing feeling, especially as the Mainz fans applauded me. But we have to look forward and concentrate on the upcoming important matches.”
Anthony Ujah and Werder Bremen will be back in action on Wednesday against Cologne in the Cup.
