Published: October 25, 2015
Experienced frontman Babatunde Wusu was on target in KTP’s 2 - 1 loss to Ilves on the final day of the Veikkausliiga season.
A brace from Lahtinen gave the visitors a two - goal lead at the Arto Tolsa Areena but Wusu, who was introduced on the hour mark, brought more respectability to the scoreline with his second goal of the season for KTP five minutes from time.
On 87 minutes, ex KuPS winger Emenike Mbachu came off the bench, his 27th appearance in an Ilves shirt in 2015.
Elsewhere, Philip Njoku and Vincent Onovo did not feature in Inter Turku’s 2 - 0 loss to HIFK at Sonera Stadium , though the striker was an unused substitute.
RoPS could not knock SJK out of the top position in the last game of the season as they both won their respective matches.
Faith Friday Obilor went the distance as RoPS thrashed Lahti 4 - 1. Teammate Will John subbed out in the 89th minute.
Finally at the Savon Sanomat Areena (Kuopio), Taye Taiwo helped goalkeeper Daniel Orlund keep a cleansheet as HJK Helsinki defeated KuPS 1 - 0.
In his debut season in Finland, the Nigeria international did not receive a single caution in 11 games.
