Nigerian Strikers On Fire In Europe, As Ezekiel, Leke James, Fred Friday, Abdullahi & Nwakaeme Hit Target

Nigeria international Imoh Ezekiel and Stefano Okaka made an impact in Anderlecht’s 3 - 1 win over Club Brugge on Sunday on game week 11 in the Belgian Pro League , with with both strikers finding the back of the net.

In the 12th minute, Okaka, who is enjoying a new lease of life since his transfer from Sampdoria this summer, opened scoring for RSCA while Ezekiel opened his account two minutes out of intermission.

In Norway, Leke James scored his 12th goal in the Premier League but could not prevent Aalesund from losing 2 - 1 to Molde at the Color Line Stadium.

Still in the Tippeligaen, the performance of the day went to Olympic National Team trainee Fred Friday, who bagged a brace in the space of 13 minutes to help Lillestrom thrash Bodo/Glimt 3 - 0 at the Aspmyra Stadion.

In the late kick off, Nigeria U20 international Suleiman Abdullahi bagged the game - winner after 70 minutes in Viking’s 2 - 1 win over Stabæk.

In the Israeli Premier League, Anthony Nwakaeme scored for the third game on the spin  for Hapoel Beer Sheva.

He opened scoring in the 48th minute for The Camels, who were leading Hapoel Tel Aviv 3 - 0 15 minutes from time.
