Home - Based Super Eagles Get $2,000 For CHAN Qualification

Each member of the home - based Super Eagles will be paid $2,000 as bonus for qualifying for the 2016 African Nations Championship in Rwanda.<br /><br />Though the squad was entitled to $1,000 per player after drawing against Burkina Faso on Sunday evening, the Nigeria Football Federation approved that they players should be paid the extra sum as qualification bonus.<br /><br />The Nigeria delegation arrived in Port Harcourt on Monday morning at around 1:15 am aboard an ARIK Air Bombardier jet.<br /><br />14 countries-&nbsp; including four from West Africa Nigeria, Guinea, Mali and Niger Republic - have booked their tickets to Rwanda following the matches that took place this past weekend.<br /><br />And definitely another West African country will join the four teams that have already qualified, with Ivory Coast set to lock horns with Ghana on Friday for a spot in the tournament. <br /><br />Photo Credit : thenff.com<br /><br /><br />
