Home - Based Super Eagles Get $2,000 For CHAN Qualification

Each member of the home - based Super Eagles will be paid $2,000 as bonus for qualifying for the 2016 African Nations Championship in Rwanda.
Though the squad was entitled to $1,000 per player after drawing against Burkina Faso on Sunday evening, the Nigeria Football Federation approved that they players should be paid the extra sum as qualification bonus.
The Nigeria delegation arrived in Port Harcourt on Monday morning at around 1:15 am aboard an ARIK Air Bombardier jet.
14 countries- including four from West Africa Nigeria, Guinea, Mali and Niger Republic - have booked their tickets to Rwanda following the matches that took place this past weekend.
And definitely another West African country will join the four teams that have already qualified, with Ivory Coast set to lock horns with Ghana on Friday for a spot in the tournament.
