Official : Vincent Onovo Joins Taye Taiwo At HJK Helsinki
Published: October 26, 2015Finnish Veikkausliigaa powerhouse HJK Helsinki have confirmed that Vincent Onovo has penned a two - year deal with the club with effect from the January transfer window.
HJK have snapped up one of the top talents in the Finnish top flight at zero - cost as the midfielder’s contract with Inter Turku is due to run out at the end of next month.
The Nigerian put himself in the shop window in June, netting three times as Inter Turku thrashed HJK 3 - 0 in the top flight.
In 47 outings in the Veikkausliigaa since the 2014 season, Onovo found the back of the net 7 times and notched a double brace in Inter Turku’s 7 - 3 victory over RoPS in the League Cup six months ago.
The hardworking midfielder was linked with possible moves to Sweden and Norway before agreeing terms with HJK.
