Dominic Solanke Tipped For Stardom By Ex Ajax Amsterdam Defender

Former Ajax Amsterdam defender Ferdi Vierklau has showered praise on
England U19 international Dominic Solanke and has predicted that he will
follow in the footsteps of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The Anglo - Nigerian was shipped out on loan to Eredivisie side Vitesse Arnhem in the summer transfer market to enable him get some first team games under his belt.
“He’s clinical. Sometimes, with the most impossible balls he knows how to do something beautiful from nothing,” Vierklau told Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf.
“In that way, he is reminiscent of Zlatan Ibrahimovic. He’s only 18 years old and already doing so well.”
Since his arrival at the GelreDome, Solanke has made 5 starts for Vitesse in the league and has racked up 568 minutes of game time across all competitions.
