Nigerians Abroad Tuesday Wrap: Mikel, Odemwingie, Akpom, Iwobi & Odubajo Feature In Capital One Cup

Stoke City, Everton and Hull City are through to the quarter - finals of the Capital One Cup after triumphing on penalties, with normal and extra time ending one goal apiece in the three matches.
Chelsea were dumped out of the competition in the fourth round by the Potters.
Nigeria international John Obi Mikel played the full game for the Londoners while Peter Odemwingie was introduced in the 90th minute. The Stoke City man dispatched one of the penalties.
Moses Odubajo and Chuba Akpom featured in Hull City’s win against Leicester City . England U21s striker Akpom came on in the 74th minute and scored The Tigers fourth spot kick. Sone Aluko was not in the squad.
At Goodison Park, Ross Barkley was introduced in the 62n minute with Everton trailing Norwich City 1 - 0. The Three Lions midfielder netted his spot kick after extra - time.
Alex Iwobi lasted the distance as Arsenal were beaten 3 - 0 by Sheffield Wednesday.
