Victor Osimhen Not Under Pressure To Score Against Australia
Published: October 28, 2015
The leading scorer at the Fifa Under 17 World Cup, Victor Osimhen, has been previewing the upcoming round of 16 clash against The Joeys of Australia on Thursday morning (12 midnight)
With 45 goals to his name, including 4 in Chile, the attacker has stressed that he is not under pressure to deliver the goods, adding that the Golden Eaglets play as a team.
“I’m not under any pressure because we are a solid team and anybody can score goals for us,” Osimhen told thenff.com.
“It is nice to have scored four goals so far in this competition but as a team, our objective is to win collectively.
“It doesn’t matter to me if I score or not, what we want as a team is victory against Australia on Wednesday and we are not going to underrate them.”
Meanwhile, Funsho Bamgboye and Udochukwu Anumudu are available for selection after serving their one - game ban against Croatia.
