Portland Timbers striker Fanendo Adi was ahead of Montreal Impact star Didier Drogba in the vote for Player of the Month for October in Major League Soccer.<br /><br />As at Tuesday, Adi had garnered 35.62 percent of the votes, while the former Ivory Coast international, who won the accolade in September, had 31.97 percent.<br /><br />Ethan Finlay (Columbus Crew), Sacha Kljestan (New York Red Bulls ) and Mauro Diaz (FC Dallas) round up the top five positions in that order.<br /><br />Voting will remain open until 1900 hours on Wednesday , Nigerian time.<br /><br />Photo Credit : timbers.com<br />
