Kelechi Iheanacho Earns Plaudits From Man City Coach

Manchester City coach Manuel Pellegrini has said that he was delighted with the performance of Kelechi Iheanacho in his side’s 5 - 1 rout of Crystal Palace in the Capital One Cup on Wednesday night.
The City number 72 picked up the Man of the Match award for scoring in the second half as well as providing two assists.
“It was very important for Kelechi to demonstrate once again that he’s a very good player,” Pellegrini told mcfc.co.uk.
“He’s not just a striker – he provided two assists - I’m very happy for him. He has things to improve but he’s working in the correct way.
“I had no doubt in him – I see how he works every day and his personality is important and it’s important for him to play with important players. ”
The Nigeria youth international has been involved in 4 goals from 7 matches in all competitions since making his official debut against Watford.
