Published: October 30, 2015
With doubts surrounding the fitness of Kenneth Omeruo, Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh has taken the wise decision of omitting him from a 24 - play roster announced on Thursday for the World Cup qualifiers against Swaziland.
But the central defender has sent a message to the Nigeria manager and his fans that suggests he is set to return to Kasimpasa’s first team against Besiktas in the Super Lig on Friday.
“Big game tomorrow very ready.. #Kasimpasa vs #besiktas @ Kasımpasa spor tesıslerı, ” Omeruo said on Instagram on Thursday.
Last weekend, the Chelsea loanee was an unused substitute in Kasimpasa’s 2 - 1 victory over Sivasspor.
Kenneth Omeruo suited up six times in the Super Lig before picking up a hamstring injury against Rizespor on September 28.
