George Abbey Delighted Obafemi Martins, Kelechi Iheanacho Are In Super Eagles Squad

Retired Nigeria international George Abbey was pleased that Seattle Sounders striker Obafemi Martins and Manchester City talent Kelechi Iheanacho have been chosen to represent the national team.
The former Crewe Alexandra defender was a teammate to Martins in the Super Eagles, and was named in the starting XI alongside the FC Ebedei product when the forward made his international debut against Republic of Ireland on May 29, 2014.
“Good to see my ex teammate @Obafemimartins #GoalMachine recalled to the national team. Also wish @67Kelechi success with @NGSuperEagles, ” said George Abbey.
The highlight of George Abbey’s professional career was being named in the Super Eagles roster for the 2004 African Cup of Nations in Tunisia.
