Anthony Ujah Doubtful For Augsburg Clash With Rib Injury

Anthony Ujah  is rated as “50-50” for Werder Bremen’s Bundesliga clash against FC Augsburg on Sunday.

The forward picked up a rib injury at Wednesday’s training session after he was challenged by Lukas Fröde and Assani Lukimya.

Unarguably, the former Warri Wolves star has been Werder Bremen’s standout player in the first stanza of the league, with 5 goals to his name from 11 matches.

If the Nigeria international fails a late fitness test before the tie at the WWK Arena, his place in the starting XI may be handed to Peruvian icon Claudio Pizarro.
