Michael Emenalo Faces Chelsea Exit Over Poor Transfer Record
Published: November 11, 2015
According to The Sun, Chelsea Technical Director Michael Emenalo could be shown the exit door by the Stamford Bridge side in the near future following the club’s poor record in the transfer market.
The Blues spent approximately £75 million on the signing of five players - Salah, Juan Cuadrado, Filipe Luis, Pedro and Papy Djilobodji- but the first two have been farmed out on loan after failing to establish themselves in the squad , while the Brazil international was sold back to Atletico Madrid.
Emenalo, a retired Nigeria international, was promoted Technical Director in 2011 after previously working in the scouting and coaching departments .
Including his appearances in the 1994 World Cup in USA, the former Notts County full - back played 14 times for the Super Eagles.
