LMC Boss Delighted Five League Stars Made Squad To Face Swaziland
Published: November 18, 2015Chairman of the League Management Company Limited (LMC), Shehu Dikko, has expressed his happiness with the decision of Super Eagles coach, Sunday, Oliseh to include five players in his 18 - man squad for the World Cup qualifier against Swaziland.
Of the five local - based players that made the squad list, three were handed starting shirts in the shape of Austin Oboroakpo, Chima Akas and Paul Onobi, while Ezekiel Bassey was given a run out in the closing stages of the game.
“Delighted to see five @LMCNPFL players made the squad for the crucial Super Eagles World Cup qualifier against Swaziland and the four that played did very well,” Dikko said on social media.
“This clearly shows we are making progress both at the LMCNPFL and Super Eagles and soon we will have a team of our dreams.”
No home - based player was considered for selection in the first leg of the World Cup qualifier last Friday.
