Adebayo Adigun moves to Tokyo Verdy
Nigerian youngster Bayo Adigun has moved to Japanese side Tokyo Verdy on a year’s loan deal from another Japanese side Kashiwa Reysol.
“This is a good move for a young player like me because I will have a good chance to play regularly in the Japanese second division,” the young central defender told MTNFootball.com from his base in Japan.

“It was a bit difficult for me getting a place in the first team at Reysol because they have so many far more experienced defenders than me. That was why I only played friendly matches for them last year and was an unused substitute in a handful of league matches.”

The former schoolboy international signed a three-year contract with Reysol last year.

He has already joined his new club for pre-season ahead of the new league season in Japan, which kicks off in March.
