CS Sfaxien striker Junior Ajayi was delighted to join the Dream Team VI
camp in Gambia one week before their first game against Mali at the
Africa U-23 Cup of Nations that will be staged in Senegal.
The former Shooting Stars frontman has set a target to win the Cup and qualify for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
“I can’t describe how I feel any time I report for national duty. For me, it’s an honor to put smiles on the faces of Nigerians, this I have come to do, God willing, ” Junior Ajayi told thenff.com.
“I have come to contribute my little quota in ensuring that we not only pick an Olympic ticket but also win the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations.”
The 19 - year - old Ajayi has been enjoying a rich vein of form since he moved to Tunisia, with 4 goals scored in his first 6 matches in the Ligue 1.
