Published: November 24, 2015
Hull City manager, Steve Bruce, was pleased to see Nigeria international Sone Aluko return to action last weekend against Bristol City.
With Michael Dawson and Andrew Robertson ruled out of Friday night’s fixture against Derby County due to injury and suspension respectively, the reappearance of Aluko and two other first - teamers is a welcome development.
“It was nice to see Curtis and Sone back on the pitch on Saturday, and I have to say that Curtis and Harry Maguire played very well together when Michael Dawson went off injured, ” Bruce told hullcitytigers.com.
“The squad is there for a reason and we’ll see what we’ve got for Friday night. ”
Sone Aluko has been included in Steve Bruce’s starting XI for Championship games four times this season while he was a substitute in 8 games.
