League Cup Team News : Aluko, Odubajo & Akpom Start, Iheanacho On The Bench

Despite Argentina star Sergio Aguero rested after picking up a knock against Southampton, Manchester City manager Pellegrini has left out Kelechi Iheanacho from his starting line - up for Tuesday night&rsquo;s League Cup quarter - final against Hull City.<br /><br />But the Nigeria international is expected to feature for The Citizens at a point, having made the substitutes bench.<br /><br />The three Anglo - Nigerian players in the Hull City ranks - Sone Aluko, Moses Odubajo and Chuba Akpom - will play from the very beginning at the City of Manchester Stadium.<br /><br />Between them, the trio have featured 8 times in the League Cup this season, while Iheanacho&rsquo;s only appearance in the competition was in the last round against Crystal Palace.<br /><br />Manchester City have won the League Cup three times - 1970, 1976 and 2014 - whereas Hull City have never qualified for the finals.<br /><br />Photo Credit : mcfc.co.uk<br />
