Viborg Mulling Over Contract Extension For Babajide Ogunbiyi
Published: December 04, 2015
Danish Superliga side Viborg are weighing the pros and cons of extending the contract of Babajide Ogunbiyi, 29.
If the Nigerian - American defender takes to the pitch against Aalborg this coming Monday, it would be his last game for Viborg except the club extends his contract which runs out at the end of December.
Ogunbiyi was very solid in the heart of defense last term but has seen his first team opportunities limited in the current campaign, with only two starts under his belt, which came against FC Copenhagen and AGF in the last two league games.
“ We play the last game on Monday and we’ll take things afterwards. There is no clarification, ”said sporting director Ole Nielsen to bold.dk.
