Samson Siasia Promises Dream Team Will Not Go To Sleep In Second - Half
Published: December 09, 2015
Nigeria U23s manager Samson Siasia says the defense will not repeat the same mistakes that saw them conceding twice in the second half in games against Mali and Egypt.
Indeed, in their final Group B fixture, goalkeeper Emmanuel Daniel kept a cleansheet for his first shutout at the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations.
“We have learnt our lessons. Two games in which the first half looked good and the last half didn’t, ” said Samson Siasia.
“We made our corrections and you can see from how we played in the last game.”
Siasia has claimed that Golden Eaglets sensation Victor Osimhen has had little or no game time at the competition because he doesn’t want him to get awed by the occasion.
