Wydad Casablanca Mulling Over Move For Sunshine Stars Striker Tunde Adeniji

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands Moroccan champions Wydad Casablanca are mulling over a move for Sunshine Stars striker Tunde Adeniji in the winter transfer market which opened for business last week.

Wydad Casablanca have been far from impressed with the performance of their Malian forward Moctar Cissé since the start of this season and have decided to do away with his services before the close of the transfer window.

Raja Casablanca have in their ranks Super Eagle Osaguona Ighodaro, who has set the Botola Pro alight with some fine performances, and bitter rivals Wydad are also impressed so much so that they want their new frontman to come from the Nigeria Professional Football League.

The 20 - year - old Adeniji is one of the 26 home - based players invited for a get - together by coach Sunday Oliseh, ahead of next month’s CHAN but will not be eligible to participate in the tournament if he signs on the dotted line for Wydad Casablanca .

He was discovered by scouts of the Ondo State Football Agency,ODSFA, while playing for Methodist High School in Okitipupa, Ondo state.
