Published: December 29, 2015
Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that Kano Pillars star Tony Edjomariegwe has arrived in Morocco for negotiations with Botola Pro club Olympic Club de Safi.
It is understood that officials of Olympic Club de Safi will observe him at close quarters for about a week, with a view to being offered a contract if successful, after a routine medical.
The attacking midfielder was plying his trade at Nasarawa United until he was snapped up by Kano Pillars before the beginning of the 2015 campaign.
Tony Edjomariegwe was invited to the Super Eagles squad for the African Nations Cup qualifiers against Congo and South Africa in 2014.
The Moroccan Federation recently announced that only foreigners with at least ten caps for their national teams will be eligible to play in the league but it is unclear at this point when the new rule comes into force.
