With a statement published on its official webpage, Finnish side KuPS has announced the signing of Nigeria international Azubuike Egwuekwe from Warri Wolves.<br /><br />The central defender will put pen to paper on a one&nbsp; - year deal with the Yellow - Blacks if he passes a medical examination in January, with the club retaining the option to extend the agreement by an additional season.<br /><br />Kuopion Palloseuran has pulled off a transfer coup luring Egwuekwe to Veikkausliiga , having been linked with a possible move Serie A side Atalanta. <br /><br />He was a member of the Super Eagles squad at the 2013 African Nations Cup, Confederations Cup and 2014 World Cup.<br /><br />Dickson Nwakaeme starred for KuPS , then switched to Asia, while Francis Chibuike played for the club before he was loaned out to <span class="st">Mikkelin Palloilijat in August 2015.</span><br /><br />Photo Credit : kups.fi<br /><br /><br />
