Watford Star Odion Ighalo Rules Out January Exit
Published: January 02, 2016
Odion Ighalo , 26, has no plans to depart Watford in the January transfer window, amid speculations at home and abroad linking him with Roma and Atletico Madrid.
The Super Eagles frontman has been the Hornets standout player in his debut season in the Premier League so much so that rumours of an exit from Vicarage Road refuse to go away.
“I want to finish the season strongly with Watford and prove that we have a good bunch of players here, ” Ighalo told BBC Sport.
“When the focus is on a strong finish, transfer talk will not get to you.”
Only Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy and Everton striker Romelu Lukaku have scored more goals than Ighalo in the top division in England in the 2015 - 16 season.
