Perpetua Nkwocha To Feature In Futsal Cup On 40th Birthday
Published: January 02, 2016Super Falcons legend Perpetua Nkwocha will celebrate her 40th birthday on Sunday, January 3rd.
These days, the former African Women’s Footballer of the Year is player - coach of Swedish club Clemensnäs IF and she will be taking part in an indoor Futsal Cup in her town Skellefteå in the northern part of Sweden tomorrow.
Since 2015, Pepe Nkwocha has been the trainer of Clemensnäs after joining them from Sunnanå.
Nkwocha won the African Women’s Footballer of the Year award four times, in 2004, 2005, 2010, 2011, and represented Nigeria at the Olympic Games three times.
The Pelican Stars, Calabar product last defended the colours of the national team at the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup, appearing in the Falcons 2 - 0 loss to Australia.
