Italian Serie A side Genoa have made a move for the second highest goalscorer in the Slovenian top - flight Blessing Eleke.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the Rossoblu are hoping to sign the former Flying Sport Academy pupil before the start of next season.
Eleke has been one of the biggest headline makers in the PrvaLiga this season, with 12 goals in 19 starts for ND Gorica and is being tracked by a number of teams outside Slovenia.
In the summer transfer market, the 19 - year - old was heavily linked with a move to Olimpija Ljubljana but it is thought that the suitor failed to meet ND Gorica’s €1 million valuation of the forward.
The teenager, who is represented by former Genoa striker Ayo Makinwa, has contractual obligations with ND Gorica until June 30, 2017.
