Published: January 04, 2016
Brown Ideye was satisfied after Olympiakos’ 3 - 1 win over Panionios in the Greek Super League, and he capped off an imperious display by netting his seventh goal of the season across all competitions.
With the defending champions 2 - 1 up, the Nigeria international effectively killed the game as a contest when he scored in the 79th minute.
“So good to begin the year with a Bang!! Difficult game tonight but we came back strong🔴⚪️ #thankful #olympiacos , ” the Olympiakos number 99 tweeted.
Olympiakos have won their first 16 games in the Super League in the ongoing season, with Ideye suiting up in 13 of those games and from the very beginning.
Nearest challengers AEK Athens are 18 points off the pace after The Reds win on Sunday.
