Elsewhere, at White Hart Lane, Tottenham Hotspur were beaten 1 - 0 by Leicester City. Dele Alli worked a 90 - minutes shift in midfield for the Londoners. Teammate Josh Onomah came on in the 90th minute.

On Tuesday, Victor Moses was left out of the squad as West Ham beat AFC Bournemouth 3 - 1. Angelo Ogbonna played the entirety of the game for the Londoners.
