Exclusive : Kalmar End Chase For Liverpool Loanee Taiwo Awoniyi

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Swedish Allsvenskan side Kalmar have ended their pursuit of Liverpool loanee Taiwo Awoniyi.
It would be recalled that the Flying Eagles star had signed a pre - contract with the Red Brothers after the 2013 Fifa Under 17 World Cup but failed to honour the agreement, before agreeing terms with Liverpool.
As a result of Taiwo Awoniyi’s lack of playing opportunities at FSV Frankfurt, where he’s on loan until June, Kalmar sporting director Thomas Andersson Borstam had explored the possibility of signing him on loan in the winter transfer market.
The 18 - year - old is yet to make his league debut for FSV Frankfut since September 2015 when he moved to the Stadion am Bornheimer Hang .
