Victor Osimhen And Dad Land In Germany For Contract Talks With Wolfsburg
Published: January 26, 2016
Nigeria U17 international Victor Osimhen and his dad Patrick Osimhen jetted out of the country for Germany at the start of this week for discussions with Bundesliga side Wolfsburg, according to reports.
The Nigerian edition of Goal.com has claimed that the player will put pen to paper this week after his lawyers back home must have studied the contract carefully.
But bear it in mind that Victor Osimhen is yet to attain the age of majority, meaning he can only sign a preliminary contract which will be activated in the next January transfer window.
In December, contract talks between Wolfsburg and Ultimate Strikers failed to yield fruits after the German club discovered that the minor was not accompanied on the trip by his father.
The 17- year - old has been courted by Arsenal, Juventus and R.S.C. Anderlecht after emerging as top goalscorer at the Fifa U17 World Cup hosted by Chile but the Germans are in pole position to snap him up.
