Official : Izunna Uzochukwu Signs Three-And-A-Half Year Deal With OB Odense
Published: January 26, 2016Danish Superliga club OB Odense have bolstered their midfield ranks with the signing of Nigeria international Izunna Uzochukwu, formerly on the books of Amkar Perm.
The ex-FC Midtjylland star has put pen to paper on a three-and-a-half-year deal with OB Odense which will keep him at TRE-FOR Park until June 30, 2019.
“Getting back to Denmark’s only good for me. I went to Russia to try something new, but it did not go as I wanted,” Uzochukwu told OB’s official website.
“OB is one of the big clubs in Danish football history, so it is a good step for me and I hope to help the club back to the top of Danish football, and I am sure that there are good opportunities. ”
For the remainder of the 2015-16 season, Izunna Uzochuwku will sport the number 15 jersey and will start training with his new teammates on Tuesday.
