Kelechi Iheanacho was an unused substitute as Manchester City advanced to the final of the Capital One Cup after beating Everton 3-1 on Wednesday night at the Etihad Stadium.<br /><br />City had to work their socks off before achieving victory and the Nigeria national - team acknowledged as much in his post-match comments and paid tribute to the fans for supporting the team through thick and thin.<br /><br />&ldquo;The team really worked hard today and the fans were amazing, Wembley here we come, &rdquo; Iheanacho tweeted.<br /><br />The 19-year-old found the net in the fourth round and quarterfinals of the Capital One Cup but did not play a part in the semifinals.<br /><br />Manchester City&rsquo;s reward for seeing off Everton is a meeting against Jordon Ibe&rsquo;s Liverpool on Sunday, February 28.<br /><br />Photo Credit : mcfc.co.uk<br />
