Kelechi Iheanacho Hails Manchester City Teammates And Fans

Kelechi Iheanacho was an unused substitute as Manchester City advanced to the final of the Capital One Cup after beating Everton 3-1 on Wednesday night at the Etihad Stadium.
City had to work their socks off before achieving victory and the Nigeria national - team acknowledged as much in his post-match comments and paid tribute to the fans for supporting the team through thick and thin.
“The team really worked hard today and the fans were amazing, Wembley here we come, ” Iheanacho tweeted.
The 19-year-old found the net in the fourth round and quarterfinals of the Capital One Cup but did not play a part in the semifinals.
Manchester City’s reward for seeing off Everton is a meeting against Jordon Ibe’s Liverpool on Sunday, February 28.
