Dream Team VI Star Erhun Obanor Set To Bid Farewell To Club Africain
Published: February 02, 2016
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Nigeria Under 23 international Erhun Obanor is preparing to bid farewell to Club Africain, few weeks after joining the Tunisian Ligue 1 team.
The Bendel Insurance product has agreed to depart the 13-time Tunisian champions by mutual consent after their failure to pay his transfer fees.
The defender put pen to paper on a three-and-a-half-year contract with Club Africain on January 15, but BJ Foundation, who have claimed to own his sporting rights, are yet to be credited with the sum of $500,000, being his transfer fees.
Obanor is expected to officially shred the agreement binding him with Club African tonight, by appending his signature to the document, before returning to Nigeria to weigh up his next move.
The 20-year-old played for Abia Warriors in 2015 on loan from Bendel Insurance.
