American-Nigerian Netminder Tunde Ogunbiyi Issues Come-And-Get-Me Plea To Danish Clubs
Published: February 03, 2016
The American-Nigerian goalkeeper Tunde Ogunbiyi is hoping to join a new Danish team following the expiration of his contract with Næstved in December 2015.
The 27-year-old could only make one appearance for Næstved in the First Division before his contract ran out, lasting 67 minutes on the pitch in the 3-1 victory against AC Horsens .
“My plan is to find a team where I can be number one. I want to show that I should be the first choice,” Ogunbiyi told bold.dk.
“I have not found the opportunity yet, but I hope to. I want to play at as high a level as possible, and I’m open to the top three ranks.
“My priority is a club that wants to give me a chance. I have been happy to be in Denmark, and I’d love to extend the stay. ”
