Iwobi, Eyoma & Bola Make Arsenal Premier League Roster
Published: February 04, 2016
Londoners Arsenal have submitted their updated squad list to the Premier League, with four players of Nigerian descent named to the roster, including Super Eagles striker Alex Iwobi.
Despite being linked with a couple of clubs in the Championship, Iwobi remained at Arsenal at the close of the transfer window, but was not involved in the Gunners first game in February against Southampton.
With the loan window set to open next Tuesday, the ex-England youth-teamer may still depart the Emirates in search of regular first-team football.
The impressive 18-year-old central defender Tolaji Bola has also been named to the roster. He is yet to appear for the U21s this term but made the bench against Swansea City U21s in January.
Chuba Akpom (on loan at Hull City) and Aaron Eyoma have been included in the squad as well.
