Published: February 04, 2016
Watford sensation Odion Ighalo has tipped Arsenal trainee Kelechi Nwakali to take the English Premier League by storm after he pens a professional deal with the Gunners.
The Golden Eaglets skipper and his entourage, including ex-Arsenal dazzler Nwankwo Kanu, had a brief meeting with Ighalo shortly after he took to the Vicarage Road Stadium pitch against Chelsea on Wednesday night and he received them with open arms.
“I told Kelechi he should keep his head down, work hard, be humble and be prayerful, ” Odion Ighalo toldallnigeriasoccer.com.
“He has every opportunity to grow to become what he wants to become in his football career.
“I believe he is a good player and has what it takes to be one of the best players in the English Premier League. ”
A product of Taye Academy, Kelechi Nwakali is expected to sign a professional contract with Arsenal this summer after attaining the age of majority and if he impresses during training.
