Revealed : Leicester City Met CSKA Moscow Valuation Of Ahmed Musa
Published: February 04, 2016
CSKA Moscow Director General, Roman Babayev, has confirmed that the Army Men rejected an offer from Leicester City for the services of Ahmed Musa in the winter transfer market.
And he has disclosed that the Muscovites will not block any offer for the Nigeria international in the summer, pointing out that the club are fighting for the league title and decided not to allow him leave in January.
“Leicester really made a proposal to us for Musa and adequate. But we felt that it is premature at this time to release one of the leaders of the team, when there is a fight for the championship and have very important matches,” Babayev told sport-express.ru.
“There is demand for Musa especially - not only from Leicester but also the other teams.
“ We discussed this situation and came to the conclusion that, if the proposal comes in the summer or in a year and it is acceptable to everyone, we will not impose any obstacles.”
Two strikers of Nigerian descent Aaron Samuel(Guangzhou R&F) and Rubin Okotie(1860 Munich) are being linked with a move to CSKA Moscow before the close of the Russian transfer window.
