Sergio Aguero Beats Dele Alli To EPL Player of the Month Award

Manchester City star Sergio Aguero has beaten Tottenham Hotspur’s Anglo-Nigerian midfielder Dele Alli to the Premier League Player of the Month Award for January.
Alli was nominated alongside the Argentina national-teamer, Jermain Defoe(Sunderland), Roberto Firmino(Liverpool), Kasper Schmeichel (Leicester City) and Virgil van Dijk(Southampton) for the award.
The 19-year-old Alli was involved in four matches in the EPL last month, and found the net in two away games against Everton and Crystal Palace.
Watford frontman Odion Ighalo is the only Nigerian player that has won the Player of the Month award so far this season.
