Simon Okosun reckons that Vendsyssel FF gave a good account of themselves despite losing 3-1 to Aalborg in a test game.
The Danish First Division side have started preparations for the resumption of the league next month and met the Superliga opponents on Thursday.
“We met a strong team . They are strong on the ball. Of course we are not satisfied with losing , but we did ok,” Okosun said to Nordjyske.
“Unfortunately, we fell down in the second half. It’s never accepted losing , but it was ok.”
Okosun, who is German-Nigerian, has netted 4 goals in 17 games from his defensive position this season.
