Scottish Premiership side Dundee United have announced the signing of Edward Ofere until the end of this season, subject to international clearance.<br /><br />The Swedish-Nigerian terminated his contract with Turkish club Boluspor in December, so was eligible to join a new employer despite the close of the winter transfer market.<br /><br />In his first words after the transfer was announced, Ofere said : &ldquo; I am delighted to be part of Dundee United Football Club. I will be giving my best and am totally committed to the challenge. <br /><br />&ldquo;My aim is to help the team and play my part in gaining vital points for the team. It is all about a job well done, nothing less than that.&rdquo;<br /><br />A product of Enugu Rangers, Eddie Ofere starred for Inverness Caledonian Thistle during the second half of last season and also played for Lecce, Malmo,Trelleborgs FF, FC Vestsj&aelig;lland and Sogndal.<br />
