Jamie Redknapp Blasts Emenike For Poor Showing Against Southampton
Published: February 09, 2016Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp was unimpressed with the performance of Emmanuel Emenike on his debut for West Ham.
The Fenerbahce loanee took to the St. Mary’s Stadium pitch in the 73rd minute after only two training sessions with his new teammates and had an opportunity to restore parity but his header missed target.
“Their best chance came from Emenike, who was really poor when he came on. Everything he did just didn’t seem to come off,”said Jamie Redknapp.
Emenike will not feature in the FA Cup tonight when the Hammers face Liverpool in a fourth-round replay at Upton Park.
