Published: February 09, 2016
Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Kano Pillars have beaten Ifeanyi Ubah FC to the signature of Nigeria youth international Zaharaddeen Bello ahead of the start of the Nigeria Professional Football League.
The Nnewi side were thought to be in the driving seat to clinch the signature of the Dabo Babes Academy defender but negotiations with his intermediary were not fruitful.
Zaharaddeen Bello grew up in Kano and that played a key role in his decision to commit his immediate future to Pillars.
A deal is already in place, with Kano Pillars crediting the bank account of Dabo Babes Academy with the sum of N1.5 million, being the rental fee for the stopper until the end of the 2016 season.
The 18-year-old Bello traveled with the Kano Pillars squad to Ijebu Ode for pre-season training.
